There is growing concern that Australians suffering from a debilitating blood disease that affects only around 70 people in the country, will be effected by the Fed Govt cutting available funding. Host talks to Prof Jeffrey Szer, Dept of Haematology and Bone Transplants, Royal Melbourne Hospital, who says this puts the survival of young Australians with this disorder in jeopardy. Szer talks about the application for funding being under review and how this is effecting the patients he looks after.
